The Industry 4.0 Plan recently issued by the Italian Government launches an ambitious challenge to the Italian manufacturing industry and proposes a large programme of measures targeting better competitiveness in our Country. Among these measures are the confirmation of the 140%
Superdepreciation and the introduction of the 250% Iperdepreciation: the former promotes renewal and expansion of the existing machinery park that, according to recent surveys, is obsolete; the latter addresses technological and digital evolution of the firms in compliance with the Industry 4.0 model. This measure aims at promoting and spreading a network of interconnected systems both within the same factory and between a factory and external systems.
