Diecasting and casting show
DIECASTING SHOW 2002

"Diecasting show" is a showcase of diecasting pieces in aluminium, zinc and magnesium that aims at promoting the knowledge of the diecasting technology and its products as well as the awareness of the different possible applications.

"Diecasting show" is a non competitive show held every two years.

"Diecasting show "was staged from 8 to 11 May 2002 at the Garda Exhibition Centre in Montichiari (Brescia), in an area specifically dedicated inside the exhibition halls of METEF- FOUNDEQ EUROPE.

"Diecasting Show" 2002 displayed a selection of 30 diecasting pieces in aluminium, zinc and magnesium, illustrated together with a technical-descriptive chart , chosen because representative of the wide range of applications of this typology of products from automotive industry to lighting engineering, from furniture to thermal-hydraulics and in the electrical field.
The diecasting pieces were previously examinated by a commission of experts and were sent by Italian and European producers as well as by users.

This showcase presented well the excellent levels reached by the industry of this sector in terms of design, performance and technological contents. It was visited by the 19,000 visitors of the exhibitions.

CASTING SHOW

Another important event was the CASTING SHOW, the first non-competitive display of castings made of any metal, from iron to magnesium, from steel to titanium  aimed at highlighting the best products of the national and international foundry industry. From the more than 100 castings from all over Europe, 30 items were picked as exhibits by a technical committee.
Date and venue of the show are the same of DIECASTING SHOW.
