Important is the activity of Assofond – the Italian Foundry’s Association – whose traditional Foundry Congress is an annual must for the sector’s specialists and operators.
Assofond’s 23rd Congress was held in Naples on October 13th and 14th. Its economic and political session staged speeches by delegates of the academic, economic, business and institutional world on major sector’s topics. The event came to an end in Brescia: on November 10th at the Mille Miglia Museum and on November 11th with the Technical Sessions. The two-day event in Brescia encompassed speakers such as academicians, foundrymen and operators of the foundry production chain and offered a rich programme where two parallel sessions – ferrous and non ferrous metals – presented about fifty reports of high technical and scientific profile.
Assofond is a traditional partner to Metef and considers this exhibition – now at its 11th edition – an excellent tool to promote the foundry sector on the international arena and a rallying cry for a better competitiveness of the foundry production chain.
