Assofond – the Confindustria association representing Italian foundries – will present at eco-profile tool to easily and immediately calculate the environmental footprint of aluminum castings.
With this tool, aluminum foundries will be able to independently identify the main types of environmental impacts associated with their products and determine the percentage contribution of each phase of the production process.
The tool’s objective is to provide foundries with a means to track their environmental footprint and independently conduct an initial assessment. This will help analyze and communicate the environmental impact of their operations, both for the entire production process and for each individual stage within it.
