New organizational structure, new location and new alliaces to promote

In 2019 Veronafiere and Bolognafiere signed a 50-50 joint venture for Metef, with the aim of promoting the metallurgical and advanced manufacturing industry, strongly linked to aluminium, a versatile, sustainable and environmentally friendly metal, symbol of the circular economy and which underpins all industrial developments.

To complete this phase of renewal, the organization of the event has been entrusted to Senaf Srl, a company that organizes trade fairs, exhibitions and events dedicated to the various sectors of the industrial and manufacturing industry in Italy and around the world. Senaf will manage the project in partnership with the historic and consolidated team at Metef.

Metef will take place simultaneously with the MECSPE event, to offer the manufacturing industry an increasingly rich offer of technological and eco-sustainable solutions.
Two well-known and consolidated events in their respective reference markets that offer complementarity and completeness with respect to the range of products offered.

Benefit of BolognaFiere district

Metef will take place from 29 to 31 March 2023 at the international exhibition facility Bolognafiere, centrally located amid districts of the nation’s manufacturing and metallurgical industry, home to the event MECSPE, which will take place in tandem.
Despite being held in separate pavilions, both events will join forces to develop synergies and achieve common targets. A strong alliance between two well-known events, both consolidated in their respective reference markets, for a
complementary and complete product range offering.

The new location and new facility further reinforce its exceptional international value.
