Your company participates in METEF. Can you tell us why you chose to be present?
METEF is recognized as a key event for the aluminium sector in Italy, which brings together the main market players, both nationally and internationally. In addition to promoting professional meetings, this event is an important platform for exchange and cooperation between companies operating along the entire supply chain, from the production and processing of aluminium to its multiple applications and recycling methods. Being present at METEF is a strategic opportunity for us to publicize our aluminium solutions and our production processes, based on material re-use. At Exlabesa we work every day to build a more efficient and sustainable industry, driving a circular economy model that optimizes natural resources and reduces CO emissions. Good proof of this is Exlabesa RE-local, our recycled aluminium brand, whose verified low carbon footprint is only 2.95 kg CO per kg of aluminium, indicating a significantly lower environmental impact compared to other production methods. With regard to Italy, we want to further strengthen our presence here, a market that has been constantly growing for us in recent years.
What innovations will you present at the fair? What kind of benefits do they bring to operators in the sector?
At METEF, Exlabesa will present its latest innovations in the field of aluminium extrusion and processing, which are the result of consolidated experience and a strong commitment to technological innovation. With 10 production sites spread across Europe and worldwide and a production capacity of 238,000 tonnes, we are able to offer state-of-the-art solutions for the sector. In particular, we will highlight our advanced macro-extrusion technologies, which allow us to produce large profiles with high mechanical performance, thus meeting the needs of sectors such as construction, transport and industry. Furthermore, thanks to our foundry facilities, we promote an increasingly sustainable approach, with the use of recycled aluminium, which reduces the environmental impact without compromising the quality of the material. For industry operators, these innovations mean greater production efficiency, more sustainable solutions, and the possibility of developing increasingly ambitious projects with a reliable and technologically advanced partner such as Exlabesa.
