Interview to Ing. Andrea Lamera, LACO STAMPI

Your company participates in METEF. Can you tell us why you chose to be present?

After now ten years of attending International Fairs in Italy and abroad, we have been able to see that the focus of the die casting industry is in Northern Italy. Metef in Bologna is located in a strategic area and is an interesting opportunity for us to find new Italian and foreign contacts and to strengthen relationships with our Customers.

What innovations will you present at the fair? What kind of benefits do they bring to operators in the sector?

Our goal is to make moulds that always meet the technical requirements.

We stand beside the Customer from the industrialization of the product to the construction and testing of the moulds.  In order to meet the quality and technological requirements of our customers, in the last few years, our company has been enriched with new equipment: two new 5-axis milling machines, a mould testing press and a micro-drilling machine.

The advanced technology of such equipment makes the efficiency of our workshop high and enables us to offer a complete service, carrying out the entire machining process in-house.

What is your message of invitation for aluminum professionals to visit your booth at METEF?

For over 45 years, LACO STAMPI has been guaranteeing experience and quality in the design and manufacture of aluminium alloy die casting moulds, burr and shear dies, epoxy resins, thermoplastic and thermosetting injection.

We have excellent experience in the lighting, electrical and filtration industries, as well as in the automotive and furniture industries.
