Your company participates in METEF. Can you tell us why you chose to be present?

Progecom chose to take part in Metef because we believe this event is a unique opportunity to showcase our expertise, our products and the services we have been offering to our customers for 35 years. We are thrilled to be part of this event and to be able to share our solutions with a growing audience.

What innovations will you present at the fair? What kind of benefits do they bring to operators in the sector?

Degassing plants: We offer solutions for aluminium degassing, with plants of small sizes ideal for furnaces and ladles that process small quantities of alloy. In addition, we offer plants for automatic treatment, managed via PLC, ladles and furnaces of large sizes, up to 2000 kg of alloy aluminium.

Crucibles: We present a wide range of isostatic and non-isostatic crucibles made of silicon carbide, manufactured by a well-known Indian manufacturer (MGI). These crucibles offer several advantages, including:

• A robust and highly oxidation-resistant structure for exceptional durability.
• Excellent thermal conductivity, which allows optimization of energy costs and significant reduction of melting time.

Aluminium Filtration Systems: We offer operators in the industry a wide range of aluminium and copper filtration systems designed for high performance and maximum reliability. Our solutions include:

Filter Nets: Available in three different mesh sizes (1×1, 1.5×1.5, 2.5×2.5), with and without resin impregnation with the goal of minimizing smoke formation in contact with metal.

Graphite sponge filters: We offer filters of different shapes and sizes, designed to reduce turbulence during casting filling, without affecting the fluidity of the metal. These filters are effective in reducing the formation of oxides and impurities in the alloy.
