Interview to Fabio Bonomi, To-Press
Your company participates in METEF. Can you tell us why you chose to be present?
To-Press, a reference organization in the field of aluminum die castings, decided to participate as an exhibitor at Metef, an event of paramount importance for the aluminum and innovative metals industry. After years of being away from trade fairs as exhibitors, this choice represents a strong signal of renewed ambition and focused strategy. The reasons that prompted us as a company to take this step are many, starting with the fact that for years we have been exhibiting regularly at major trade fairs in this sector.
Then, for various reasons, we decided to stop this tradition. However, we never stopped closely following market and trade show developments, participating as visitors in various events, including Metef. During these visits, the company’s sales and technical team had the opportunity to closely observe the dynamism and richness of the offer presented at Metef. In particular, we were very impressed by the high number of visitors, consisting of industry professionals, and the variety of products on display. It was evident how Metef is a hub for innovative companies, suppliers and valuable partners, with a particular focus on aluminum die castings, which is our core business.
The return of To-Press to the fair scenario is not only an operational decision, but a real strategic challenge. Re-joining this scenario requires great commitment and thorough preparation. Participating in a trade show is not just about setting up a booth: it means planning every detail to maximize visibility, build new relationships and strengthen one’s image in order to be ranked as a long-standing and reliable supplier in the industry. In a time when competitiveness and innovation play a crucial role, we at To-Press see Metef as a unique opportunity to strengthen our brand and position ourselves even more authoritatively in the market. We are convinced that a well-structured and organized event, such as Metef, can bring tangible benefits, not only in terms of networking, but also in terms of image return.
Our presence will be an opportunity to showcase who we are today: a modern, dynamic company ready to meet the challenges of the future. Metef 2025 will therefore be not only a moment of visibility for To-Press, but also a test to prove the company’s ability to adapt and respond to the needs of an ever-changing market. An event that, in a sense, also marks To-Press’ return to the world of trade shows, with the awareness that this choice can open up new opportunities for growth and success.
What innovations will you present at the fair? What kind of benefits do they bring to operators in the sector?
To-Press is preparing to present a series of innovations at Metef 2025, bringing forward a unique proposition in the aluminum die-casting arena. With an approach focused on production flexibility and integrated management of the production cycle, the company is standing out with solutions capable of revolutionizing the way industry players face their daily challenges.
Customized production: from small to medium batches
One of To-Press’ strengths is the ability to produce small batches, starting from as few as 50 pieces up to 20,000 units. This flexibility is an exception in an industry where many companies focus on large batch sizes.
With this choice, we are able to meet the needs of customers who require high customization or limited volumes, while ensuring quality and fast delivery.
This approach is particularly helpful for companies operating in niche markets or needing prototypes and pre-series before starting large-scale production.
Integrated production cycle: from design to finished product
The other important feature that distinguishes To-Press is the complete management of the production cycle. The company takes care of the complete product, from product design and industrialization to mould making, through actual production and coordination of the finishes required by the customer. These may include sandblasting, powder or liquid painting, anodizing, chrome plating and even high-precision machining.
We act as a single point of contact for our customers. This means that we handle all the suppliers involved, greatly simplifying the customer’s work and reducing delivery times. The result is a finished product that exactly meets the customer’s requirements, without any risk of misunderstandings or delays due to managing multiple partners.
Multi-sector experience: assurance of reliability
With years of experience, To-Press has worked in very different sectors, from mechanical to furniture, lighting to automation, and even pneumatics, medical, excavation and irrigation works. This versatility allows the company to competently address highly specific requests, offering targeted and innovative solutions for all types of customers.
The benefits for industry operators
The innovations presented by To-Press not only bring efficiency and quality, but also solve common logistical and operational issues. The ability to rely on a single partner for the whole production cycle reduces organizational complexity, lowering the hidden costs associated with managing multiple suppliers. In addition, small-batch production and a focus on customization make it possible to meet different needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
What is your message of invitation for aluminum professionals to visit your booth at METEF?
