Metef Arena – Hall 32
The METEF AWARDS 2025 competition aims to highlight technologically advanced solutions in managing processes across the entire aluminum supply chain.
The proposed innovations will be evaluated based on their contribution to decarbonization, performance characteristics, technological innovation, originality, and competitive advantages.
Particular emphasis will be placed on energy savings, environmental sustainability, resource conservation, and connections with academic institutions.
Metef Awards seeks to recognize the best innovations in aluminum production, transformation, processing, and applications, submitted by exhibitors at Metef and Mecspe in the following categories:
- Green materials and processes
- Machinery, plants, and technologies for foundry and extrusion
- Products, components, and finishes
- Applications

Closing the STEM Gap
A new category for this edition, “Closing the STEM Gap”, is dedicated to promoting female participation in the aluminum sector.
The Metef Award 2025 will be granted to the winners of each category and will consist of a commemorative plaque in aluminium.
The awarded companies’ innovations will be promoted through various communication initiatives via the event’s official channels.
The award ceremony will take place during Metef 2025, on March 6, at the Metef Arena in Hall 32.
