Lightening For Sustainable Mobility

Wednesday, 29/3/2023 3.30 p.m. – Inside the Cuore Mostra on the occasion of the “Italy-Germany Forum: 2035 and the automotive supply chain” (Centro Servizi Arena – Costituzione Entrance)

The University of Bologna, involved in the National Centre for Sustainable Mobility – MOST, presents current research on innovative materials and lightweighting. Professor Lorella Ceschini, contact person for Spoke 11 “Innovative materials for lightening”, will illustrate the specific research project that involves 7 other universities, 1 research centre and 6 large companies and that aims to promote the green transition of the transport sector through the structural lightening of components, be they polymeric, composite or metallic, in particular aluminium alloys, including recycled ones, both for foundry and additive manufacturing.
